Gang of Youths adds two Australia shows; Detroit show finds new venue
Fans in Australia have two more chances to see Gang of Youths when the Angel In Realtime tour gets there in July/August.
The band announced the new pair of gigs “due to overwhelming demand.” The new shows are:
Tickets for both shows will go on sale to the public this coming Monday, April 11.
With a capacity of nearly 15,000, it’s no small feat for Gang of Youths to sell out one show there and add a second. It’ll be interesting to watch how quickly tickets sell for this new show.
Meanwhile, next month’s Detroit gig has been moved to a new venue. The gig will now take place at Magic Stick Theatre; the date is the same (May 4) and tickets from the original venue will be honored. Structural issues at the original venue, St. Andrew’s Hall/The Shelter, forced the change. At a concert back in March, patrons reported that the floor nearly buckled.
