Comments: Gang of Youths plays for the first time on New Zealand’s South Island. Including live radio performances, it’s just the fifth time the band has performed in New Zealand.

During the Gang of Youths performance, frontman David Le’aupepe took a moment to acknowledge the people of Christchurch and dedicate a song to them.
“Christchurch has been through a lot in the last few years,” he said.
“Kia kaha – it means stay strong – this song is about exactly that. Do not let yourself be found weak, do not let yourself be troubled, and do not let your spirit wane.”
