Comments: The band adds this date and a second gig in Melbourne “due to overwhelming demand.”
The show begins with a twist: The band takes the stage (minus Dave) and plays a live version of the usually pre-recorded “You In Everything” instrumental intro.
Dave stops the band midway through “The Kingdom Is Within You” when he spots a fan who apparently fainted at the end of the catwalk. After making sure the fan is taken care of and feeling better, the band restarts the song from the beginning. (See the video below.) Gretta Ray again sings lead for the first half of “Deepest Sighs.”
Tonight’s show is a homecoming for Donnie, and he takes a solo bow at the end of the show as the audience showers him with applause.
