A More Perfect Union, the Aussie music festival that Gang of Youths created and curated in 2018, is coming back in 2022 and it’ll be bigger times two.
That’s because instead of a single day of music, next year’s festival will happen over two weekends, with one show in the Tasmanian capital of Hobart and the other outside Brisbane.
To get specific, the two dates and locations are as follows:
There’s already been a ticket pre-sale for members of the band’s mailing list. The general ticket sale will happen in early 2022 when the complete lineup is announced.
In an email to that list announcing next year’s festival, the band wrote:
We have been working hard on putting together the day and the lineup; it blows our puny minds that such magnificent artists will be on our festival. The festival will not only feature us, but also some of our very favourite Australian and international acts, as well as artisan food, wine, beer, and activations.
The original A More Perfect Union took place on November 24, 2018, in Brisbane.
