Go Farther In Lightness lands at #39 on 2018 ARIA Album Chart
Go Farther In Lightness continues to go farther on the Australian music charts.
The album came in at No. 39 on the 2018 ARIA Albums Chart — the only Gang of Youths album to make the year-end chart. It also ended the year at No. 6 on the Australian album chart. Both are very respectable figures for an album that was released in August 2017.
GOY’s only other appearance on ARIA’s year-end charts is via “Let Me Down Easy,” which finished at No. 19 on the Australian artist singles chart.
MTV Unplugged Live In Melbourne — the band’s only formal release in 2018 — didn’t crack the year-end charts. The album debuted at No. 5 on the album chart in October (and No. 1 among Australian artists), but fell off the charts soon after.
