Triple J to air Gang of Youths’ Laneway Brisbane set
Good news for fans who don’t have Laneway Festival tickets: Triple J is going to air GOY’s set from the Brisbane festival!
BUT … it’s not going to air until Sunday.
The band is due to be on stage at 10:40 pm Saturday, and Triple J is going to live broadcast about a dozen artists throughout the day Saturday … but Gang of Youths’ set won’t air until Sunday at 5:00 pm. So mark your calendars or whatever you do these days. (“Alexa, remind me…”?)
Double good news for those of us outside Australia: Triple J streams online, so unless there’s some kind of territorial restriction in place, we’ll be able to make this a worldwide listening party. Let’s goooooooooo!
